As I recall, one of the most common questions adults ask kids is, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Childhood is a great time to fantasize about the future. When a child, the future stretches out like eternity. When I was a girl, gender roles where much more prevalent, and my future fantasies were never quite what the adult asking wanted to know. I never dreamed of being a teacher or nurse, but of being a pilot or astronaut. As it turned out, I followed my father’s footsteps and became an entrepreneur.
