Kids Need to Play Make Believe
Play is the work that children do, and playing make believe is the work that helps develop their creativity and prepare for learning readiness.
While tutus, fairy wings or magic wands wont make your child creative, they are great props for make believe play which can in turn increase their vocabulary and their general ability to learn once they begin school.
