You must know by now that I love my Piggy Banks. They are the largest category on my web site and they are my fastest selling product when I am on the road. (My Room Signs come in a close second.)

Lately, I have noticed an increasing interest in gifts for teens and pre-teens. I know how hard it is to find teen gifts other than the newest video game or clothes. And frankly lots of the t-shirts marketed to teens are just rude.

At Kidoodles by Kim, we work to find products that are clever and humerous, but are supportive of families. Our piggy banks make great gifts for any age from infant to adults. Spring is on its way

It may only be mid February, but I am already seeing daffodils in the stores to remind me that spring is coming!

Valentine’s Day is only 5 weeks away!

Yes, I know we just got through with Christmas, but Valentine’s day is one of my favorite Holidays. I guess it’s because right there in the coldest part of winter is a day to celebrate love, send some flowers and (hopefully) get a box of chocolate!

At Kidoodles by Kim, we have a number of gifts that will be just perfect for Valentine’s day gifts. Our large ceramic Pink Marabou Piggy Bank has been airbrushed with tones of pink, and sprinkled with glitter to make it shimmer! We’ve added pink satin roses in each ear and given her a pink marabou boa around her head. To give her some personality, we’ve painted on fluttery sparkling eyes and glittery red lips…all she needs is a name! She is a delightfully chubby 8"x6"x7". She also comes in different pastels so be sure and look at all of the personalized piggy banks we have available.

Ok, so maybe I am carrying the little piggy thing a little far, but this is the line that always got Katie, my niece to giggle as my fingers ran up her legs to tickle her tummy! And this little piggy will certainly inspire lots of giggles. Everyone will want to drop a coin in just to hear it oink "thank you!"

This little piggy is solid white, so you need to really think how you want to personalize it. You can give me a call for suggestions if you like.

I have spent so much time over the past month introducing you to our wide range of personalized gifts for baby and kids, I have not told you much about our personalized piggy banks. We have piggy banks for babies, kids, teens and grown-ups. We have piggy banks for collectors and piggy banks that are just fun to add to your room decor. We have giant piggy banks and small piggy banks. I have so many piggy banks that I still have not had time to get them all on the web site.

This piggy bank is one that I personalized for my niece Katie. Every time I look at it, I think of Wilber in Charlotte’s Web. This piggy bank is a delightfully fat 7" x 6" x 6" and comes in brilliant yellow, orange, blue and green.

I keep a piggy bank of my own in the laundry room to catch the coins I fish out of pockets. If you have a large family you’ll be surprised how fast laundry money mounts up!

All Pigs! No Bull!

At Kidoodles by Kim, we have 25 delightfully unique Piggy Banks with more yet to come. There are pigs in every color you can imagine with wonderful hand painted faces. Some are decorated with poofs of mirabou. Some are painted to enchant little boys and some are painted with little girls in mind. But if you love Pigs, I know you will find the perfect pig here.

This is my young friend Nicholas, holding his new giant Piggy Bank. While we also have lots of Money Banks, I’ve always been partial to Piggy Banks. What better gift for your child than a bank bearing his or her name, with maybe a bit of a head start rattling around inside!

Raising kids is a challenge. You keep them clothed, fed and housed; but you also teach them valuable lessons for their lives. One of the lessons I learned from my Dad was about money. While he was great at making money he was also great at not spending it rashly. Growing up we each had money banks. May be that is why, when I began Kidoodles for Kids, some of my first products were Personalized Piggy Banks.

This Piggy Bank is one of my large banks. It measures 8×6x7 inches and will hold lots of coins. There is a rubber plug in the bottom for withdrawals, so no breaking the bank with a hammer! You can see that Nicholas is delighted the bank I personalized just for him.

As you might guess, before Nicholas went home that day, Dad started the bank off with a pocket full of change.

Who is Kim at Kidoodles Personalized Gifts?

Even as a kid, I loved art. I have dabbled in all kinds of art media, but a few years ago I took a course in calligraphy and decided this is my favorite art form. It gives me the ability to turn a message into art.

I especially enjoyed personalizing gifts for my niece. She is now a precocious 9 year old and loves all the gifts I do for her bearing her own name.

It wasn’t until 2002, that I left my previous career and began selling personalize gifts at fairs and shows in the northwest. It’s been a great success so now I am expanding to the web.

I can’t wait ‘til we are online and you can see all the baby shower gifts, dress up clothes for girls and boys, personalized piggy banks, and the many other personalized and uniquely designed children’s gifts I have.

I’m a bit new at computers, so building this site is something of a challenge. Fortunately, I have a great brother that has offered lots of advice and help. Since I know he’ll be reading this, I’ll say now, “THANKS SO MUCH, KIRK!”
