This is my niece Katie. As you can see she has moved from little girl to fiesty pre-teen! Well, she has always been fiesty but she is growing older as all kids do.
But, she has reached the age that being ‘cool’ is really important. It is all part of that growing up phase of figuring out how to fit in and figuring out how to be different.

Just like Wilber from Charlotte’s Web, this money bank is "SOME PIG"! A delightfully fat 7" x 6" x 3", this pig will hold lots of coins. The slot for coins is in the top with a rubber plug in the bottom to retrieve your stash. At Kidoodles by Kim, I have two different but similar categories. So, I thought to take a moment and explain the difference.
Our Personalized Room Signs are designed for boys and girls of any age. They are all 1/4 inch wood and are all roughly 8×5. Some of the signs vary by an inch one way or the other. They are all drilled at the top and come with coordinating ribbons to hang from. They all have lots of room to personalize.
If you are giving a personalized room sign as a baby gift, feel free to include the baby’s name and birthdate. If you are giving one of our sports signs in honor of a big win, we can include the team name and the date of the big game.
Our Personalized Room Decor also has signs that can hang from the wall, but it also has so much more. The wall plaques in room decor tend to be more decorated and are a bit more restricted in space for personalizing. However, several are drilled in the back and come with pegs so they can stand on a dresser.
In addition to wall plaques, personalized room decor also has photo holders and peg racks. Even though we specialized in personalized baby gifts and personalized kids gifts, the photo holders and peg racks would make great personalized gifts for teens and adults as well.
If the mom-to-be you are shopping for works, you might consider the photo holders as a great personalized shower gift. One of my favorites is this heavy resin little frog holds a flat metal strip, appealingly curved and welded with 3 small disks. Attached to the disks are 3 adorable little frog magnets to hold your favorite pictures. The frog is 3 1/2" x 3" and stands 16" tall. With such a small footprint it would be great on the new mom’s desk for when she returns to work.
In addition to the frog there is a dolphin and several fairy princeses in different colors. These would certainly make a unique gift for any age!

While the weather maps still show cold temperatures, Friday is officially the first day of spring. With spring comes flower and the greening of the trees. Hopefully it brings a bit more time out of doors for you and your kids.

Our very own cover girl Miss Blythe was in the Cinderella Beauty Pageant in February. It was an exciting day for all but particularly for Blythe. I think by the end of the day she was quite exhausted.
